For this role, I primarily used Canva, iMovie and Adobe (Illustrator, Premiere Pro and Spark) to design and edit engaging assets (social media content, event posters and one-sheets) for the company Instagram account and our artists on the roster every week. I monitored music industry trends, news, releases and events to create relevant content for regular series such as New Music Friday, Throwback Thursday, Woman Crush Wednesday, Artist Spotlight, Song of the Week and more! I also critiqued the content and marketing strategy for current artists on the roster advise the Founder and Marketing Coordinator accordingly.

I was also responsible for booking and coordinating all meetings, interviews and features and ensuring all schedules and timelines were adhered to. As I made a good impression, I was given the opportunity to conduct my first very own artist interview and take reign on the questions asked.

I scheduled daily posts on Facebook and Twitter to an audience of 15k+ using Tweetdeck and Meet Edgar. I also engaged with 20+ fan pages per shift via DM’s, comments, likes and shares to increase interactions by 5.8%. By working with an international team of 5 other individuals to optimise social media strategies, we reached a 28 day summary of 1.2 million interactions on Twitter.

I worked with another intern to rebrand and create a content calendar for the Twitter Account. Together, we used Tweetdeck to schedule and post daily content which facilitated an 800% increase in Twitter impressions in the 1st month. I c

As part of this role, I curated engaging Instagram posts using Canva and Figma to increase account following by 31% and interactions by 10% within my first month. I also r
esearched competitors, identified talent and pitched to potential local and international artists and partners on a weekly basis. I worked directly with the artists on the roster and Creative Director, CTO and Founder to execute audience engagement plans, optimise platform growth and release campaigns. By tracking and analysis Facebook & Instagram advertising campaign data for independent artists, we were able to tailor strategies accordingly. My internship was extended as I became the ‘go-to’ for advising on fan engagement strategies.

At EPM Scientific (part of Phaidon InternationaI), I became the division’s quickest promoted consultant (2 months ahead of schedule) by achieved KPIs consistently in a fast-paced and competitive environment. I was the Ambassador Recruiter for ‘Medical Device - Contract (Ireland and Nordics). By understanding motivations and needs of clients and candidates, I was able to negotiate salaries and manage budgets to boost company revenue by £700 weekly. Presenting business cases and development prospects to 40+ internal and external stakeholders at all seniority levels globally equipped me with immense organisation, leadership and confidence. I also regularly designed job adverts and e-candidate portfolios for LinkedIn and provided daily administrative support e.g. booked travel/meetings, coordinated multiple interview processes simultaneously, prioritised activities and organised calendars across timezones.

This role primarily involves me attending bi-weekly career development workshops and networking events.
My main project involved creating social media graphics for a digital activation covering the release of Fearless (Taylor’s Version). It gathered 250 interactions and had a 56.8k reach. I have previously collaborated with an international team to curate monthly Spotify playlists with 200+ followers combined. Now, I ideate marketing strategies for the Stream Team Sessions podcast (e.g. curate engaging captions), monitor tour announcements from local and international artists of all sizes and adding them to a #TourThursdays spreadsheet.

As the Marketing Lead for Eraste, I ideated and executed the campaign strategy for the release of her single ‘Favorite Secret’. The artist manager and I used the data from Spotify for Artists and Apple Music for Artists to create fan personas. Based on the information, we optimised a TikTok strategy and created a private Snapchat which showcased exclusive content to further entice fans. As a result, we had 50 more pre-saves on this song compared to previous releases.
Throughout this role, I was also a Podcast editor and used iMovie to shorten clips and create exciting trailers.
