Hello,

I’m Sanj, a Marketing Intern at Sony Music’s Commerical Group. I graduated with a Masters in Marketing student at London Metropolitan University in September 2021. Having lived in London and Manchester, I have been an avid concert-goer since I was 15. Fortunate enough to have seen artists such as Khalid, Pan!c at the Disco, The 1975, Shawn Mendes, One Direction and more at the O2 Arena - that venue is a second home.

Fascinated by the reasons behind people’s motivations, beliefs, communication, decision-making and behaviour, I pursued an undergraduate degree in Psychology. Also, with 5+ years of sales and customer service experience, I have a robust ability to build and maintain relationships with personalities across all spectrums and in different environments. Having grown up in a digitally-driven era, the idea of storytelling, curating innovative campaigns, monitoring trends and branding to convey messages to multi-faceted and ever-changing audiences excites me. My Marketing degree has broadened knowledge in business and strategy, particularly with being able to transform ideas into tangible and measurable objectives.

Breaking down the stigma surrounding ‘fangirls’ is important to me as I believe they are critical to sustaining an artist’ success in today’s hyper-competitive landscape. As a brown female myself, I am determined to create a more diverse and equal environment where voices of all backgrounds are amplified and nurtured.

Being a fan from a young age coupled with the opportunity to attend an endless number of webinars, networking sessions and Clubhouse events over COVID-19, I have met several like-minded individuals across the world who fuel my passion and confidence everyday. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!

Outside of work, my main interests include food, fitness and travelling.
